DLAF provides Services is almost all districts of Sindh and some parts of other provinces of Pakistan

DLAF Services:
DLAF provides legal aid, legal rights awareness, legal counseling, and court representation in courts through its well experienced and skilled advocates to ensure the accessibility to justice, fair trial without undue delay and knowledge of legal rights to the vulnerable groups. DLAF works on both demand and supply side. At the one hand, it increases demand for justice through legal awareness and empowerment and on the other hand, it improves the supply of justice by providing legal assistance and aid and strengthening the justice system. In this backdrop, DLAF works on following thematic areas:

  • Who can approach for DLAF services?
    Woman, children in contact with law (victim child/family), children in conflict with law (juvenile offenders), persons with disabilities, transgender, and minorities.
    How to approach for DLAF services?
    If you need our help for legal counselling and legal aid approach us in following ways:
    • A written application can be made to the concerned authority of DLAF

    • Where the person cannot read or write, the concerned officer of DLAF will record his/her statement along with thumb impression. Such a statement is treated an application.

    • The person who claims legal aid has to file an affidavit of his/her income.


    • In addition to the above, legal service may be granted:
    • In cases of great public importance;

    • Special cases considered deserving of legal services by the DLAF.
